1. We don't use cookies
No cookie is ever set on Majka Solutions sites. We do not use Google Analytics, Meta Pixel, Hotjar or any comparable third-party analytics or advertising tool. No code that follows you across our sites or around the internet appears on our pages.
This is a choice, not laziness: it is perfectly possible to measure which pages are useful without identifying the reader, so that is what we do.
2. So how do we measure traffic?
With a cookie-free counter we wrote ourselves. It sends one record when a page opens and one when you leave. What it sends:
- the page you visited and the address you arrived from
- your browser language, screen width, device / browser / operating system type
- campaign tags in the link (
utm_source,utm_medium,utm_campaign) - your two-letter country code and how long you stayed
Your raw IP address is never stored. To match the two records of a single visit, your IP, browser string, today's date and a secret key held only by us are combined and irreversibly hashed. That hash resets every night — so we cannot recognise you tomorrow. Our "unique visitors" figure therefore means "unique within that day".

3. The only thing we keep in your browser: your preferences
Even without cookies, we write a few small notes to your browser's own storage (localStorage) so your choices survive a page reload. None of them carries an identity, none is ever sent to us, and all of them stay on your device.

Clearing your browser's site data removes these notes, and nothing on the site breaks.
4. Opting out of measurement
If you would rather not be counted, open the site once with ?olcum=kapat appended:

That leaves a permanent note in that browser and you will not be measured again. To turn it back on, visit with ?olcum=ac. If your browser uses tracking protection or a content blocker, our counter already does not run — which we do not consider a problem.
5. Third parties contacted when the page loads

Our pages contact no other third-party server.
6. Sites we build for clients
When we build a site for you, we apply the same approach by default: no cookies, no Google Analytics, no visitor data handed to ad networks. The practical consequence is that your site does not need a cookie consent banner in front of every visitor. If you want a different tool added, that is your call, and that tool comes under its own policy.
7. Changes
